SERIAN, June 14: A 30-year-old woman was killed after the vehicle she was travelling in crashed and overturned by the roadside along Jalan Telagus, heading towards Kuching city, this afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Serian responded to the emergency call at 3.20pm and found the woman unconscious inside the vehicle upon arrival.

The 32-year-old male driver had already been assisted out of the vehicle by members of the public prior to Bomba’s arrival.
Firefighters used specialised rescue tools to extricate the woman from the car. However, she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
As of press time, authorities are still awaiting the arrival of the police to carry out further procedures. — DayakDaily
