BINTANGOR, Sept 27: A 30-year-old motorcyclist was thrown into a drain after a collision with an oncoming vehicle along Jalan Bakong Meradong this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Bintangor Station responded to the emergency at 7.18am.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found that the accident involved a car travelling from Bintangor town towards SJK(C) Mint Daik, which had collided with the motorcycle.
Firefighters immediately administered first aid, stabilising the rider by applying a cervical collar and securing his limbs.
The motorcyclist, who sustained injuries to his left arm and leg, was placed on a stretcher and transferred to paramedics waiting with an ambulance.
The 37-year-old female driver was unharmed. — DayakDaily
