300 students exhibit ingenious creations at SCIENCE

KUCHING, Aug 18: More than 300 students from throughout the state converged yesterday at Sarawak Energy’s Sarawak Community Innovation Engineering Competition Exhibition (SCIENCE).

The programme which kicked off yesterday is being held at The Hills Mall here, in collaboration with The Learning Curve, according to Sarawak Energy in a media statement.

During the exhibition, the 300 participating students showcased their engineering creations in line with this year’s SCIENCE theme “Smart Home and Future Living”.


The two-day event, which aims to encourage interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, will culminate today with the announcement of which team came up with the most innovative and creative project.

According to Sarawak Energy, SCIENCE 2019 is held in conjunction with the National Science Week, and is supported by the state Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Research, the federal Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change, the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) and the state Education Department. — DayakDaily
