MIRI, May 2: Eight firefighters from Lopeng station rushed to Pin Fook Garden in Jalan Riam, here, this afternoon after the alarm was raised that a car had caught fire.
Fortunately, the 30-something driver and her two children managed to get out of the vehicle before it burst into flames and completely destroyed the car in the 2pm incident.
The firemen managed to put out the fire at about 2.30pm.
No one was hurt in the fiery incident, and its exact cause had yet to be ascertained. — DayakDaily.
