KUCHING, Sept 5: Three people died while four more were injured in an accident that occurred at Engsebang Kuari Balai Ringin on the Serian–Sri Aman stretch of Jalan Pan Borneo today.
In a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) report, a call was received at 11.54am, and firefighters from the Serian station were deployed.
It was noted that the single-vehicle accident involved a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle in which all seven victims were in.
Personnel from the Health Ministry confirmed the deaths of two women and one man, who were identified as Paula Janting (43), Janting Pangau (75), and Senin Beriak (65).
Meanwhile, the remaining four who were injured—two males and two females—were assisted by the public before Bomba’s arrival. — DayakDaily
