MIRI, March 11: A 29-year-old man was killed when the Perodua Bezza he was driving hit a road divider along Jalan Pan Borneo, near Simpang Beluru on Saturday (March 9).
According to Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, the fatal crash occurred around 4pm.
“The driver, a male individual, was thrown out of the car due to the impact of the collision and unfortunately lost his life in the accident,” he said today in a statement.
The man died on the spot.
Prior to the incident , the car was heading towards Beluru from Niah.
The police is investigating the case under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
