KUCHING, Nov 2: A 29-year-old man in Kuching who did not have any comorbidities was the youngest fatality among the 19 Covid-19 deaths reported in Sarawak today.
According to a report by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), the patient was one of four brought-in-dead (BID) cases. All BIDs were from Kuching.
The other three BIDs comprised a 50-year-old man who had asthma, a 77-year-old woman who had hypertension and diabetes, and a 35-year-old man who did not have any comorbidities.
Meanwhile, there were also four Covid-19 patients without comorbidities who died.
Apart from the 29 year-old who passed away on Oct 29 and 35-year-old man who passed away on Oct 31, the remaining two were an 82-year-old man from Limbang who died on Oct 30 and a 46-year-old woman from Mukah who passed away on Oct 31.
SDMC added the Covid-19 patients passed away between Oct 29 and Nov 1.
Four deaths were reported on Oct 29, seven deaths on Oct 30, four deaths on Oct 31 and four deaths on Nov 1.
With this, the Covid-19 death toll in Sarawak now stands at 1,373. — DayakDaily
