KUCHING, Dec 4: A 27-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to injuries in a two-vehicle accident along Jalan Mukah-Balingian yesterday.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, they received a call regarding the incident at 4.20pm on Dec 3 and a team from Bomba Mukah was deployed to the location.
The operation commander reported that the incident involved a Toyota Vios which collided with the motorcycle.
Three individuals who were inside the Toyota Vios was unharmed while the victim was thrown off his machine and landed in bushes along the roadside.
Firefighters then proceed to carry out the victim out from the bushes. The victim was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel from Ministry of Health (MOH).
The deceased’s body was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
