KUCHING, March 23: A total of 27 foreigners were arrested during a ‘Ops Khas’ roadblock held in Sri Aman recently by the Immigration Department for various offenses.
The Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) stated in a release today that the joint operation, conducted in collaboration with the Immigration Department, took place from 10pm on March 21 until 4am on March 22.
The statement also mentioned that during the operation, JPJ issued a total of 15 non-compliance notices to motorists.
Among the offenses cited were driving without a valid license, driving a vehicle without road tax, overloading vehicles, and other technical issues.
