242 S’wak students in Puchong receive aid from state govt

KUCHING, Oct 22: A total of 242 students from Sarawak studying in Master Weld Academy in Puchong received food items from Sarawak government.

Deputy Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak) Datuk Hanifah Taib presented the food items to the students in a simple ceremony held at the academy’s lobby in Puchong, Selangor, today.

Hanifah in a press statement explained that the contribution was to reduce the burden faced by the students during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) currently implemented in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putra Jaya to curb the spread of COvid-19. –DayakDaily.
