KUCHING, Aug 9: Some 24 households in Uma Lesong in Sungai Keling Ulu Balui, Tasik Belaga received RM188,750 in contribution from the Sarawak Welfare Department (JKM).

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the handing over ceremony of the contribution was officiated by Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon.

“Apart from that, 25 of the residents also received their replacement of identification documents which were lost during the fire incident that occurred on March 27, this year,” it said.

On another matter, Kennedy also attended the programme to  release fishes to the lake, which was held in Uma Belun Leodian Homestay.
