KUCHING, April 25: A 22-year-old man was injured following a two-vehicle collision at Jalan Narasit in Bintangor today.
According to a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 10.42am today, and firefighters from the Bintangor station were deployed.
Upon arrival, the operations commander noted that the accident involved two vehicles, a Toyota Hilux and a Land Cruiser.
“The driver of the Land Cruiser was trapped in the vehicle, and Bomba stabilised the victim using a C-collar before extricating him. The victim was still conscious.
“He was then handed over to the Health Ministry officials for further treatment,” said the spokesperson.
Once firefighters conducted a clean-up of the site and ensured it was under control, the operation ended at 12.16pm. — DayakDaily
