KUCHING, Nov 20: A 21-year-old female passenger was injured in a two-vehicle collision along Mile 29 Jalan Kuching-Serian today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Serian responded to the emergency at 11.22am by immediately mobilised a team of firefighters to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the accident involved a Proton FLX and a three-tonne lorry.
The woman was trapped in the car’s front passenger seat, with her legs pinned underneath the vehicle’s dashboard.
Using specialised rescue tools, firefighters extricated the victim, who was then handed over to paramedics and transported to Serian Hospital for treatment.
Both the drivers of the Proton FLX and lorry were uninjured. — DayakDaily
