KUCHING, Nov 10: A total of 213 Road Transport Department (JPJ) trainee officers from Grade KP19 and AB19 have completed 11 weeks of basic training at the Malaysia Road Transport Academy at Tiang Dua in Air Molek, Melaka.

The Ministry of Transport (MOT), in a press statement today, said JPJ, as an enforcement agency, would continue to strengthen and maintain its human resources in order to perform at their level best.

“The basic training for these trainee officers includes competency development in order for them to have the right attitude, skills and knowledge relevant to their working environment.

“A primary focus of the training is to strengthen these officers with very strong individual personality traits,” it said.

During the 11 weeks of training, the trainees undertook 19 modules, followed by an “on the job training” to different states so that they could apprehend the real job scope and processes.

The trainees were also instilled with integrity and spiritual values in order to produce officers with high ethics and confidence. — DayakDaily
