KUCHING, June 14: A 20-year-old woman was found dead in the toilet of a house located near to a hotel along Jalan Batu Kawa early this morning.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Batu Lintang station received a distress call regarding a suspected case of self-harm at 8.34am, and a team of firefighters was immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the woman unconscious in the toilet.
It was learned that the door had already been forced open by the victim’s father prior to their arrival.
No rescue operation was conducted by Bomba.
The case was subsequently handed over to the police and paramedics from the Ministry of Health (MOH) for further action and investigation. — DayakDaily
