KUCHING, March 24: Two senior citizens riding a motorcycle were injured following an accident with a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in Saratok.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 12.15pm today, and firefighters from the Saratok station were deployed.

The operations commander noted that following the accident, the elderly man who is the rider sustained injuries to his face while the elderly woman, the pillion rider, injured her leg. The MPV driver was not injured.
The victims were then brought by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) to Saratok Hospital for treatment. — DayakDaily
