2 out of 35 Covid-19 cases classified as critical

KUCHING, Dec 23: Only two out of 35 new Covid-19 cases in Sarawak today were classified as critical cases.

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), 26 patients had mild symptoms while the remaining seven were asymptomatic.


In terms of districts, Kuching recorded the highest number of new cases at 10 cases, followed by Lawas with eight and Sibu with four.

Miri and Serian were next in line with three cases each, and seven other districts namely Bintulu, Lundu, Simunjan, Sarikei, Samarahan, Limbang, and Matu registered one case each.

This brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the whole of Sarawak up to 252,129 as of this day.

Meanwhile, Sarawak continued to report zero new Covid-19 deaths and clusters. — Dayakdaily
