KUCHING, Nov 7: Two individuals suffered injuries, while one escaped unscathed in an early morning collision at Jalan Tabuan Tranquility, here.
According to the state Fire and Rescue Department operation centre, the 1.45am incident involved a four-wheel-drive (4WD) and a sedan car.
The two vehicles were believed to have collided head on, which caused the 4WD vehicle to land upside down on the road shoulder.
“The 4WD driver escaped unscathed but the driver of the sedan vehicle suffered a severe head injury, while his passenger was injured at the shoulder,” the department said in a statement.
Both of the injured victims were taken out from their damaged vehicles by the public and given an treatment by the emergency response medical personnel at the scene before being sent to the hospital.
Firefighters carried out a flushing operation at the scene and help removed the vehicles from obstructing the traffic. — DayakDaily
