KUCHING, Nov 18: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) handed over appointment letters to two contractors to carry out upgrading of Surau Darul Hasanah in Kampung Tabuan Ulu and Tadika Kemas in Tabuan Tengah under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) today.
MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said that the projects would fall under Santubong constituency under de facto Law Minister Dato Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar who is its member of parliament (MP).
The two contractors awarded the contracts are Dalco Enterprise which will upgrade the Surau Darul Hasanah in Kampung Tabuan Ulu, while Aktif Bina will undertake upgrading of Tadika Kemas in Tabuan Tengah.
Wee urged the contractors to complete the projects within the stipulated time in their respective contract so that residents in both areas can benefit from the upgraded facilities.
Zone 4 councillors Iskandar Sharkawi and Sebali Chik were also present at the event. — DayakDaily
