KUCHING, May 13: A total of 19 developers have successfully registered themselves with Mutiara Mortgage & Credit Sdn Bhd (Mutiara) to be under the Housing Deposit Assistance Scheme (HDAS).
The list of developers eligible under HDAS updated as of May 11 was published on Mutiara’s Facebook page yesterday (May 12).
Among the eligible housing projects include Dayabaru Sdn Bhd’s Taman Sri Indah Phase 1 and 2, Tanjung Kidurong in Bintulu, Miri North City Development Sdn Bhd’s North City 18 in Miri, Berlian Stabil Sdn Bhd’s Taman Berlian Stabil, Phase 6 in Samarahan.
Mutiara said applications submitted by other developers to be under the same scheme are still under process, and the list will be updated accordingly soon.
“Mutiara only shares information about the developers registered under the HDAS programme. We are not responsible for the sales and purchases by the developers.
“Buyers who are interested in buying a home, please contact the housing developers to get the latest information on existing units for sale,” it added.
The HDAS was introduced by the Sarawak government to assist the B40 and M40 groups in owning homes in Sarawak. — Dayakdaily
