MUKAH, Dec 2: An 18-year-old girl was discovered dead on the front veranda of a house in Kampung Kuala Lama earlier today.
Mukah District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Muhamad Rizal Alias, confirmed the incident, according to TVS.
Police received a report about the discovery at 6am and immediately dispatched a team to the scene for investigation.
“The 18-year-old girl was found lifeless on the veranda of a house, and the authorities were informed about the discovery,” said Muhamad Rizal.
Preliminary investigations found no signs of a struggle or foul play that could indicate criminal elements.
The body has since been sent to Mukah Hospital’s mortuary for further examination.
The case is currently being classified as a sudden death report (SDR). — DayakDaily
