KUCHING, Nov 2: An early morning blaze razed down three houses in Kampung Hilir Sg Pala in Kabong today, leaving 17 people homeless.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre in a statement disclosed they received the emergency call at 4.47am. A team of seven firefighters from Saratok Bomba led by PpgB Nazry Mohamat rushed to the scene which is located about 45 minutes from the station.
“All three houses were completely destroyed in the incident, while three nearby houses were estimated to be five per cent damaged after being affected by the flames,” it added.
