15yo girl among 6 injured in 7am crash near Kpg Gua in Sri Aman

KUCHING, May 30: Six people were injured in an accident that occurred near Kampung Gua, Jalan Serian-Sri Aman, earlier this morning.

According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department, an emergency call was received at 7.16am, and firefighters from the Sri Aman station were deployed.

Upon firefighters’ arrival, it was noted that the accident involved a Perodua Axia that appeared to have skidded off the road.

The victims—three men aged 21, 32, and 60; two women aged 30 and 56; and a 15-year-old girl—all sustained minor injuries and were able to get out of the vehicle without the use of rescue equipment.

Three victims were transported to the Sri Aman Hospital via the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS), while two were brought in using Ministry of Health (KKM) ambulances.
