KUCHING, Dec 14: The body of a 15-year-old boy was found in a drain along Jalan Kampung Pemindahan in Marudi today.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, they were informed about incident by members of the public at 7.20am and firefighters from Bomba Marudi were deployed to the location.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the teen laying unconscious inside the main road drain.
Firefighters removed the teen from the drain with a stretcher. The teen was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel from Ministry of Health (MOH).
The deceased’s body was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
