KUCHING, Nov 28: A total of 154 students received their scrolls at FAME International College’s 19th Graduation Ceremony 2022 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said institutions like FAME are essential towards providing quality education in Sarawak and producing graduates who can find fulfilling employment for the future.
“FAME understands the demands of study, providing micro-certification as a shorter version of a regular mode of study.
“It satisfies the local context, but also keeps its focus on global requirements through international professional accreditation, SAS from USA for computer science graduates, Chartered Institute of Marketing, CIM Graduate Gateway, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant, and the UK Accelerate Programme for business, accounting and finance degree students.
“So whether their students choose to stay here or seek opportunity elsewhere, they are well prepared,” he said in his speech when representing Deputy Sarawak Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian at the ceremony.
He also said that FAME International College offers certificates and diplomas in the subjects most suited to the local context such as Certificate in Business Studies, Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Diploma in Business Administration, Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Diploma in Digital Business, Diploma in Computer Science, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. — DayakDaily
