KUCHING, Nov 11: Twelve districts in Sarawak were issued with thunderstorm warnings until 5pm today.
Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), in an advisory issued at 2pm, said the affected areas are Kuching, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Tanjung Manis, Daro, Matu, Kapit, Song, and Limbang.
The department added that a thunderstorm warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity of more than 20 mm/hour close to or expected to last for more than an hour. — DayakDaily
