MUKAH, Aug 9: Some 115 letters of approval for the Kampung Rajang Baru and Belawai Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) were handed over by Kuala Rajang assemblyman Datu Len Talif Salleh at the Kampung Rajang Community Hall on Saturday (Aug 7).

“Among others, the State government’s initiative is to reduce the premium rate by 50 per cent for residential lots in all SPS and SPK and not more than RM2,500 for one lot.

“All this is implemented to alleviate the burden of low-income people involved in the schemes in settling the payment of premiums.

“This project will definitely benefit the people, especially in Kampung Rajang, as well as prove that everything that has been planned by the GPS State government will be implemented for the convenience and wellbeing of the people,” he said.

Len Talif also expressed hohpe that the residents who have received their respective lots will immediately build their dream homes to fulfill the original purpose of estabishing the SPS and SPK schemes.

He also thanked the Land and Survey Department for its commitment in ensuring the project is implemented.

Also present were Mukah Division Resident Hamdiah Bakir, Mukah Division Land and Survey Superintendent Emmy Zurina Omar, Tanjung Manis Acting District Officer Ismail Kasah and Pemanca Morshidi Moris. — DayakDaily
