11 localities in Sri Aman, Tatau, Lubok Antu, Saratok, Sarikei, Meradong and Mukah under EMCO

KUCHING, May 29: State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today announced the implementation of Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in 11 localities in Sri Aman, Tatau, Lubok Antu, Saratok, Sarikei, Meradong and Mukah.

According to a press statement from the committee today, the EMCO has already started since May 28 until June 10, 2021 in three localities namely Rh. Agusti Kampung Keropok, Lingga, Sri Aman; Rh. Semangat anak Bubon, Ng Dia, Sangan, Tatau; and in Rh. Kanyan anak Abok, Sg Penyarai, Kakus, Tatau.

Starting today (May 29) until June 11, the EMCO is also imposed in Rh. Igar Bukit Tungku, Engkilili, in Lubok  Antu; Rh. Sambang, Babang, in Saratok and Rh. Tama, Nanga Melupa, also in Saratok.

The EMCO implementation in two localities in Sarikei and Maradong, namely in Rh. Garai Sg Minus Jakar; and Rh. Daisy, Skim B, Bintangor, also begins today (May 29), and will end on June 14, 2021.

For the three localities in Mukah, involving Rh. Rimong anak Kilat; Rh. Asin anak Aji and Rh. Bija anak Unggang, the EMCO will start on May 30 (Sunday) until June 12, 2021.

On the same note, SDMC disclosed an extension of EMCO in two localities in Sri Aman, involving two longhouses namely  Rh. Noel Kampung Aping Dadak in Pantu and Rh.Agal Panggil Angkong from May 28 until June 10, 2021.

SDMC also declared the end of EMCO implemented in four localities in Saratok, Bintulu and Pakan today (May 29), involving Rh. Entinggi, Nangga Ingu Kabo Krian, Saratok; Rh. Engkabi, Tingkat Seblak, Roban, Saratok; Blok F and O RPR, Bandaria Park, Bintulu; and Rh. Janang, Sungai Wong, Pakan. — DayakDaily
