KUCHING, June 8: A 10-ton lorry which was carrying oil palm fruits, lost control and overturned, causing the driver to be stuck in the vehicle at Saratok to Betong Road on Sunday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was alerted of the incident at 6.48 am and a team was deployed to the scene immediately.
According to the Bomba report, the lorry was heading towards Sri Aman area when the incident happened.
The driver was given immediate treatment by Bomba personnel upon reaching the scene. He was later sent to Saratok Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.-DayakDaily
