SERIAN, Aug 28: One person was killed while three others were injured in an accident involving two lorries along Jalan Sungai Menyan here today.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), firefighters from the Serian station were deployed after receiving a call at 2.50 pm.

The accident involved a cargo lorry and a five-tonne lorry, with four victims reported.
The report stated that one male victim was trapped beneath the overturned five-tonne lorry and was later confirmed dead by Ministry of Health personnel.
As for the three injured victims, one was transported by members of the public to Serian Hospital while the other two were taken using an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle. — DayakDaily
