KUCHING, Aug 17: A 26-year-old man was killed while two others were injured in a single vehicle accident along Jalan Stunggan Ulu in Lundu today.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center, they received the call regarding the incident at 11.22am and deployed firefighters from Bomba Lundu to the scene of the accident.
Upon arrival, the operation commander reported that the incident involved a Perodua Myvi, where all three victim were extricated by members of the public.
The body of one of the victims, who was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH), was handed over to the police for further action while the two injured victims were transported to Lundu Hospital. — DayakDaily
