KUCHING, April 17: An individual sustained injuries in a road accident at Jalan Bungkang, Sri Aman today.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, a call regarding the accident was received at 10.10am, prompting firefighter units from the Sri Aman station to be deployed the location.
The operation commander reported that the victim was found lying on the road, injured, and was believed to have been run over by a heavy vehicle.
The victim was identified as a 27-year-old male by the name Alferdayson Jabu, who had sustained injuries following the accident.
The fire brigade provided initial treatment by attaching a cervical collar to the victim and lifting them using a stretcher to be sent to Sri Aman hospital to receive further treatment. –DayakDaily
