Youth sentenced to two years’ jail for attempted motorcycle theft

KUCHING, Dec 11: A habitual offender was sentenced to two years in jail for attempted theft.

Zaki Amirul Radzuan Sazali, 21, from Taman Dahlia, pleaded guilty to the charge before Magistrate Nuruhuda Mohd Yusof here today.

The accused was charged with attempting to steal a Modenas motorcycle with another person who is still at large, at the Sarawak General Hospital motorcycle parking area around 4.20am on November 22, 2019.

He was charged under Section 379A of the Penal Code, read together with Section 511 and Section 34 of the same Code.

Officer Merylene Andrew Mang prosecuted while the accused was unrepresented by counsel. — DayakDaily
