KUCHING, April 5: A 23-year-old man has been remanded for seven days on suspicion of raping his underage sister-in-law.
Magistrate Faelly Jeffrey Lanjungan allowed police’s application to remand the suspect until April 12.

The suspect allegedly raped his sister-in-law thrice since December last year, the first time at a workers’ hostel in Mile 4.
After the 14-year-old victim’s mother lodged a police report, the suspect was picked up at about 9.50pm yesterday at a car wash shop in Jalan Tabuan Dayak.
The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
