SERIAN, April 28: The education fees of the two children of the Lumut helicopter crash victim, Joanna Felicia Rohna, will be borne by Yayasan Sarawak (Sarawak Foundation).

Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said the late Joanna’s daughter Allesia Felice Haslie, 4, and son, Hovannes Haslie, 1, will be registered in Yayasan Sarawak’s database.

“The first child is still in nursery. When both children enter primary school, secondary school and university, Yayasan Sarawak will cover their education fees.

“Today I informed their families specifically the father (Hasbie Ali) where we will register these children in Yayasan Sarawak’s database.

“We will keep in touch through their father (Haslie) to see the development of these children’s education,” he told reporters during his visit to Haslie’s home in Kampung Engkeroh near Tebakang here today.

During the visit, Abang Johari also presented assistance amounting to RM10,000 to the heirs of the late Joanna’s family.
