Works Minister: RM21.5 mln upgrade of Bintulu Vocational Secondary School to be completed by June 2025

KUCHING, May 5: The RM21.5 million project to upgrade Bintulu Vocational Secondary School is scheduled to be completed by June 2025.

Works Minister Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi in a statement today said the project is currently 69 days ahead of schedule at 42 per cent progress.

According to him, the main scope of the project involves construction of vocational learning blocks for culinary arts, fashion, cosmetology, electric and electronics, computer-aided design (CAD), wiring, automotive technology, industrial machinery, construction and welding technology courses.

“It is expected to be handed over by Ministry of Education (MOE) by June 2025,” he said.

Apart from that, Nanta said the construction of the RM65.5 million Bintulu federal quarters project under the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) is currently 92 days ahead of schedule at 33.8 per cent progress.

He added that the project is scheduled to be completed by July 2025. — DayakDaily
