KUCHING, Sept 15: Workers’ quarters at Pending Industrial Estate made up of 12 units was fully razed by fire on Monday night.
Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) were contacted at 9.01pm and a team was deployed to the scene.
According to the statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, there were six units on the first floor and six units on the ground floor were all fully razed by the fire.
Bomba successfully prevented the fire from spreading to a diesel fuel tank and a pile of tires near the house.
The fire was put out and the operation ended at 11.37pm. — DayakDaily
