KUCHING, Oct 12: A workers’ quarters in Jelalong 3 Estate in Bintulu was destroyed in a fire.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, they received a call regarding the incident at 10.34am today and deployed Bomba Bintulu to the location.

Firefighters are still on the way to the location using a logging road in Ulu Tubau, Bintulu.
The initial report said that one block of five doors of the workers’ quarters was razed by the fire.
No casualties were reported in the incident so far. — DayakDaily
