KUCHING, March 10: A double-storey house located at Kpg Muhibah Miri was consumed by fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre (PGO) received five emergency calls about the 2.55pm fire.
The house was 100 per cent destroyed by fire before Bomba reached the scene. It was believed that the fire spread fast due to the hot weather and the wooden structure of the house.
The owner of the house suffered burn injuries on his shoulder and neck from the incident and was sent to hospital for treatment.—DayakDaily
