MIRI, Dec 15: A 20-something woman went to the police today after she was cheated of RM4,000 over an iPhone deal she had made with a stranger over WeChat.
According to sources, the payment for the iPhone was to be made in installments. The first installment was made on Nov 13 and the last one on Nov 23.
The understanding was that the phone would be delivered within four to five days after the final installment was made.
But until today, the victim has not received anything. — DayakDaily
