KUCHING, Apr 10: A woman was killed in an accident, which also severed her right leg, at Jalan Sungai Kua in Selangau today.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 2.12am, and firefighters from the Selangau station were deployed.

It was noted that the single-vehicle accident involved a car in which the victim had been ejected from and pinned underneath.
“Health Ministry (KKM) personnel at the scene later confirmed that she had died from severe injuries sustained in the crash, including the loss of her right leg. Her identity has yet to be established,” said the report.
Firefighters extricated the victim, who was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
