MIRI, Aug 5: A 24-year-old woman was found dead in a room of a house in Tudan Phase 4 here this morning (Aug 5).
The deceased was discovered hanged inside the room, next to a window grill by one of her younger siblings around 12pm.
According to Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah, prior to the discovery, the deceased’s younger brother had knocked on her room door several times, but there was no response.
It prompted her family to force open the door.
The body has been sent to Miri Hospital for a post-mortem.
“The case is classified as sudden death, as we found no criminal elements on the body,” Lim said. — DayakDaily
