BINTULU, Feb 9: Three individuals, including a woman, were arrested by the police here yesterday in connection with an office break-in case in Jalan Kemunting on Feb 3, where hardware worth a total of about RM15,000 were reported stolen.
Bintulu police chief Supt Zulkipli Suhaili, when contacted today, said two of the suspects were aged 39 and the other 27.
“The trio was arrested during ‘Ops Pintu’ on Friday at 3.15pm at Jalan Kemunting,” said Zulkipli.
During the raid, police seized stolen items worth about RM15,000. Among the items seized were drilling equipment and cement cutters.
The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for house-breaking. — DayakDaily
