MIRI, July3: A fight broke out between two women inside a room of a budget hotel here at Jalan Bintang on Tuesday morning, leaving one of them with injuries to her lower jaw.
It was believed that the fight which occurred around 8am was over a man who is married to woman who was injured.
The injured woman lodged a police report at Miri Central police station (CPS) that same morning.
However, it was learnt that her husband had fled the scene with her attacker immediately after the commotion.
Sources said, prior to the incident, the victim in her early 30’s, was with her husband inside the room when suddenly the second woman who is believed to be the husband’s lover, confronted her from out of nowhere. Subsequently a fight broke out.
The victim claimed that she was hit by her attacker with a glass cup. — DayakDaily
