MIRI,Sept 22: A widow stunned when she discovered all of her life savings amounting RM20,000 went missing from her bank account.
Her ordeal began after she gave all of her personnel details to two unknown inviduals who offered her a welfare aid.
A police report has been lodged by the victim at Miri Central police station (CPS) recently after the discovery was made on Thursday morning.
Sources said the two suspects had called up the victim and offered her the aid on the condition that she must first give them her details including her ATM card details.
The victim later realised she had fallen to a scam after all of her savings vanished from her bank account. — DayakDaily
