The victim, Chin Shin Fah, was reported missing by a family member on Jan 4.

According to the police report, on Jan 3, the victim and his family attended a prayer ceremony at Rumah Baie Merio Tambak. At around 11.30pm that night, the victim was said to have left the longhouse and did not return.

Upon realising his disappearance, his family and the longhouse residents conducted their own search for the victim, which yielded no results, prompting them to file a police report the following day.

The victim was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt and a pair of black shorts. — DayakDaily
