Viral CCTV footage leads to tip-off, three arrests for theft

MIRI, Oct 23: Viral video footage of three men stealing a grasscutter from a house in Pujut last Saturday led to their arrests today (Wednesday).

The trio, in their late 30’s, were picked up by the police around 12pm, based on a tip-off received concerning their whereabouts.

Also seized from their possession was the stolen grasscutter.

On that Saturday, around 1pm, the three suspects were caught on CCTV at a house stealing the grasscutter from a nearby residence in Pujut 8C.

They were detained in Pujut 9.

All of them are currently being detained at Miri Central police station (CPS) for questioning. — DayakDaily
