KUCHING, May 26: Two vans that were parked in front of a shop lot building located in the Batu Lintang area was razed by fire on Monday night.
The fire was reported to the Fire and Rescue (Bomba)Department around 8.45pm and a team was rushed to the scene immediately.
According to the Bomba report, their team managed to put out the fire by using two water hoses from the fire truck and it was lucky that the fire did not spread and damage the shoplot building.
The two vans were totally destroyed by the fire while another sedan car which was parked near to them received 5 per cent fire damage.
The operation ended at 9.04pm. —DayakDaily
