KOTA SAMARAHAN, Aug 9: Ahmad Nur Irfan Amirruddin, a Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) student and cadet offficer with the Civil Defence Student Corps (SISPA), has been honoured with the Live Saver Award for his bravery in rescuing a drowning victim at the university’s lake.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) news report, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities student received the award at a ceremony organised by the Muara Tuang Constituency Service Centre on Friday night (Aug 8), presented by Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Deputy Speaker and Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang.
