“The RM20 million allocation for Mission Schools was fully disbursed, benefiting 155 projects across 126 Mission Schools. For Houses of Worship, UNIFOR has released RM35.78 million covering 171 projects,” he said.

Uggah said the ongoing financial assistance for Houses of Worship and Mission Schools is not merely a monetary initiative but a deliberate, continuous effort to preserve Sarawak’s longstanding culture of religious coexistence.

He emphasized that Sarawak remains one of the few places where diverse faith communities can grow, worship and develop together peacefully.

“This is in line with The Right Honorable Premier’s vision of strengthening social unity as a pillar of our development trajectory,” he concluded. — DayakDaily
